The health, safety, and well-being of our entire VAC church family continues to be of great importance to us. Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases across the province, and in light of the BC Provincial Health updates given on Monday, March 29, we have been required to continue pausing all in-house weekend services and most in-person ministry events**. You can read the current restrictions and guidelines HERE.
By continuing to pause our in-person services, we are able to honour and respect the decisions mandated by the BC Provincial Health Authority. We have been and continue to be committed to creating ways to stay connected, and encourage you to reach out to your ministry leaders and find out what they have planned. Our weekend services will continue to be livestreamed on Saturday at 6:30pm and Sunday at 10:00am. They will also be available on-demand on all platforms by 9am every Sunday. These weekends will remain intentional and interactive, and we encourage you to stay connected by joining us, and by following on social media.
Our office is open, and our staff and pastors are working as guidelines allow. If you need us, we are here! Please reach out! We will continue to monitor any changes & will keep you updated as needed. We know that getting most of our human connection through a screen just isn’t the same. But, we also know that we are blessed to have the possibility of real connection, that something can still happen, even through our screens. May we continue to be grateful for what we do have, & to know that church is much more than an hour together, whether in-person, or behind a screen.
** As of March 30, Junior High and Senior High events may still run with both an in-person and online option, with the in-person option being in compliance with the most up-to-date restrictions and guidelines.
Thank you for participating in our Check-In Survey this February. It was great to hear from over 325 of you about how you're doing! Our Lead Team & Elders are now processing your feedback and using it to guide our next steps! We are also reaching out to some of you as appropriate. Again, thank you for taking the time to tell us how you're doing and how we can better serve our community.
Here's a snapshot of what you told us!
