Any ministry is dependent on volunteers. Never is this more true than in ministry to kids. If you love kids and want to serve we would love to help you find a place where you can use the gifts God has given you.

To volunteer with children newborn to 4 in our Nursery, Toddler Room or Pre-School, call Diane at the church or email diane@vernonalliance.org.

To volunteer with kids K-5 in our VAC Kids program, call Amy at the church or email amy@vernonalliance.org.


All our volunteers are required to:

• Fill out an application form
• Provide a criminal record check for all adults (16+)
• Provide a minimum of 2 references
• Have an interview
• Go through regular Plan to Protect training

It is of utmost importance to create an ongoing safe environment for children. Our Alliance district requires us to abide by the Plan to Protect manual and we see it as protection for both our children and our volunteers.
