Family Connect
Family Connect is fun, intentional ideas for family night. It helps parents and caregivers to connect the dots between what your children are learning at VAC Kids to a fun family oriented night at home. Pick up a copy at the VAC Kids desk.

GodTime Cards
The GodTime cards are daily devotions to focus kids’ attention as they spend time reading the Bible and talking to God at home. Work through the GodTime cards with your children. You can also encourage older children to work through them on their own. These can be picked up at the VAC Kids desk.

Cue Cards
The Cue cards are take-home notes to parents about what their kids learned at VAC Kids. They include the virtue, memory verse, Bible story, bottom line (key concept for the week) and a question for kids and parents to talk about on the way home or during the week. Take the time to discuss what your child learns each weekend and incorporate it into your family life, so that your child’s learning can continue throughout the week!

For parents of children with special needs
Our desire is that each child that comes to VAC Kids would be able to discover Jesus and become His follower. We would love to work with you to help your child to encounter God in ways that are meaningful and geared to their learning abilities.

For parents of Kindergarteners
The month of September is often an overwhelming month for children entering Kindergarten. So much in their world is changing! As a means for easing your child’s transition from the play-based preschool program we offer upstairs, to the small group activity-based Kindergarten program we offer in the VAC Kids space, we will be helping your child connect with a small group leader who will work to build relationship with your child, and help them transition into this different style of learning. We hope your child will enjoy being a part of this Kid-style church designed to reach them right where they are at.

We recognize this is a huge season of transition and new experiences for your child. It is our desire to work with you and your child to make VAC Kids a place they love to come to. If you have any question or concerns, please feel free to contact either Amy or Carmen at the church.

Parent Serve
Parent Serve allows parents to participate alongside their child at VAC Kids. You will be able to join your child’s small group and participate with them under the leadership and care of their small group leader.
Parent Serve is also great it you would like to learn more about what happens at VAC Kids and potentially see what serving regularly looks like. Please contact Amy or Carmen if you are interested in scheduling a parent serve date.
