PURPOSE
VAC’s Men’s Ministry exists to provide an environment where men have the opportunity to grow in vital relationships with Jesus Christ and other men.
MISSION
To empower men to follow Jesus Christ and fulfill their God-intended roles in the home, in the workplace, in the fellowship of believers and in the larger community.
WEEKLY GROUPS
We invite all men interested in connecting with other men to check out our weekly men’s groups. We are currently running four men’s groups at different times throughout the week. For more information about any of the groups email mensministry@vernonalliance.org.
Wednesday AM Group: Watch for details and a fall start up date!
Thursday PM Group: 7:00-9:00 pm in Roots. Starting up on September 16. Call Darren, 250-938-1809, for more information.
Friday AM Group: 6:00-8:00 am in Roots. Starting up September 17. Call JC for more information at 250-545-3853.
Saturday AM Group: 8:00-10:00 am in the Arbour. Starts September 18. For information, call Bob at 250-545-3148.
OUTREACH PROGRAM
A team of our men prepare and serve hot meals to the less fortunate of Vernon every month from September to April. For further information about the Men’s Ministry Outreach Program or anyone wishing to donate to this important ministry may contact Bill @ 250-545-6776 or bill_admiraal@telus.net for details.
MONTHLY BREAKFASTS
Men’s ministry also puts on a breakfast for men on Saturday mornings. It’s a great time of worship and fellowship with guest speakers, testimonies and worship team. Check out our weekly newsletter for updates.
The next breakfast will be Saturday, October 2, 7:30-9:00 am. Cost: by donation.
EVENTS
Men’s ministry: Church, ministry & repair projects, events, outreach. Join us Tuesday, September 14, 7 pm, in the Arbour. Meet the team and find out how you can get involved. This meeting is open to all men of VAC, we need youthful enthusiasm to older wisdom!
