The Good Food Box
The Good Food Box is a box of quality fresh fruits and vegetables distributed on a monthly basis. By pooling resources, Good Food Box participants get lots of top quality, nutritional food, and save money in the process. Each box is $15 or $9 and you can sign up and pay for one at the church during office hours. Boxes must be ordered by the 2nd Wednesday of the month, and will be available for pick up on the 3rd Thursday of the month, in two locations; or may be delivered for a small fee.
Neighbourlink
Neighbourlink works through a network of local churches and agencies and responds to the needs of people by mobilizing volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Neighbourlink at 250-558-5527.
Freezer meals
We provide frozen meals for those in need in emergency situations. Meals are available at the church office.
The Snack Program
We provide financial support to Harwood School to help provide children with healthy snacks.
School Supplies
Every fall we help provide school supplies to children and teens.
Camp Sponsorship
Each year we sponsor children for camp, application forms can be picked up at the church office. If you would like to sponsor a child for camp, please make it out to the "Benevolent fund."
Vernon Jubilee Hospital Chaplin
Each month we provide financial support to the Chaplaincy fund.
Tax Clinic
Free Tax Clinic for low income tax returns, prepared during Common Threads at the Arbour in March and April. Maximum incomes: Single, $25,000; Couple, $30,000.
