Neighborhood Life Vision

To develop a valley wide network of neighborhood groups who meet regularly to experience discipleship together and to impact their communities with the love of Jesus.

We recognize that:

o There is a longing for spiritual community
o As the church grows larger we need to think smaller
o As ministry leaders we want to foster and arrange environments where neighborhood life can happen
o There is a need to help people find companions on the journey in their own neighborhoods
o We are the church in the Neighborhood

We have designed Neighborhood Life to be a three year seasonal discipleship journey. It is intended to be an informal style of discipling: climbing the hills, trips to the lake, caring for the poor, worshipping together etc. We want this journey to be a multidimensional approach to discipleship.

There are three elements to Neighborhood Life:

o Learning and growing together
o Fellowship and social times
o Helping and service opportunities
