Gregg Jeske - Pastor of Discipleship
As Pastor of Discipleship Ministries I have the priviledge of working with some great people who oversee different ministries of the church: Men's Ministry, Divorce Care, Neighborhood Life, and Adult Ministries. The goal of Discipleship Ministries is to compassionately lead individuals to a safe place where they can find freedom, healing, and growth in their walk with Christ and in community.

Jon Buller - Pastor of Worship & Arts
My job is really about telling God’s story through Worship and Arts. This involves making use of a wide variety of art forms to help connect us with who God is. Some of the activities of my job include leading worship at weekend services and in other areas of the church, pastoral care to the 100+ worship arts volunteers, lots of service planning, preparation, team building, teaching, shepherding and writing and recording music.

Diane Guzy - Pastor of Family Ministry
My area of responsibility is in the ministry of all children from nursery through grade 6. I desire that during their time at VAC they would experience love and a life change.

Jeremy Kinniburgh - Pastor of Student Ministries
I have the greatest job in the world. I lead a team of around 70 of the most amazing volunteers and staff on the planet, and we work with hundreds of gr. 6-12 students and also the Young Adults at VAC. I have the opportunity to bring leadership to the youth staff, cast vision for the direction of the Rush Hour Student Churches and NOMAD Communities, teach, and generally be a part of what God is doing here at VAC and in the Valley. As a team we are here to help students discover Jesus and become his followers, and provide a place where together we can believe, belong and become.

Denise Golding - Pastor of Womens Ministry
My role is to give leadership to a team of women who have a passion to lead and serve the women of VAC. As a team we seek to provide opportunities for women to experience spiritual growth, community, and service in ways that fit the unique personality and culture of our church and community. I am available to give individual pastoral care to women in the many varying seasons of life.
Denise is currently in Africa for a year and will return June 2010. For info regarding Women's ministries contact Marni at the church office.

Will Wiens - Campus Pastor
I have dual roles here at VAC. One is to give leadership to the area of facility maintenance. This involves participating in and also giving direction to custodial care. My goal is to develop teams of volunteers who will share in the care and development of our campus for ongoing effective ministry. I’ve also been entrusted to partner with our pastoral team to provide care to the church family. I have been given the opportunity to combine my unique gifting to blend repairs and maintenance with pastoral care.

Kim Goldsmith - Worship & Arts Administrative Assistant
I design the media presentations for the weekend services, take care of some of the administration in our department, help plan weekly services, and work with the team on planning special events.

Jessica Hamilton - Receptionist
I am the first point of contact for people coming into or phoning the church. I direct inquiries to appropriate departments, update the database, prepare the weekly bulletin, keep the website up to date and many other things throughout the week.

Trudy Kemper - Financial Secretary
I am responsible for looking after all financial matters that affect VAC, which is all aspects of offering, payroll, and paying bills. Other duties include preparing reports for our Board of Elders to help them make their decisions, preparing reports for the District and National Offices, Charities Return, helping in the budget process, GST, income tax receipts, and assisting our Treasurer.

My job is to provide the technical support to both Student Ministries and the Worship & Arts departments. I’m the lights, sound, and camera for the action of VAC.

Jake Klassen - Volunteer Staff for Pastoral Care and Adult Ministry
My area of responsibility is to give leadership to some areas of Adult Ministries, be involved in prayer ministry of VAC, help with teaching, discipleship, visitation, mentoring, and participate in Men's Ministries, hospital and home visits, and funerals.

Gerry Malnis - Ministry and Resources Coordinator
My job consists of managing the church's resources to allow ministry to function with freedom, alignment, discipline and financial accountability. I co-ordinate the marriage ministry and am a member of the Missions Advisory Committee to GAP. This job allows me to interact with the staff, congregation and elders. I am fortunate because I get to see God's faithfulness at work on a daily basis at VAC.

Marni Rogers - Neighbourhood Life Coordinator
My Role is to work along side the Neigbourhood Life groups helping them to achieve success in developing healthy, growing relationships and ministry within their communities. I provide training, support and encouragement to the leaders of each group as they build friendships and "spur one another on toward love and good deeds" (Hebrews 10:24) in their everyday lives. God is using these groups to impact communities with the love of Christ all over the North Okanagan. Join us!

Katherine Zalit - Weekend Ministry & Special Events Coordinator
I coordinate the dedicated group of volunteers who provide hospitality during the weekend services. I make sure the ushers, greeters, welcome desk and coffee ministry have the resources and organization they need to carry out their work. They are the first contacts for people who come through our doors. I also help staff put together special events throughout the year.
