Jon Buller - Pastor of Worship & Arts
My job is really about telling God’s story through Worship and Arts. This involves making use of a wide variety of art forms to help connect us with who God is. Some of the activities of my job include leading worship at weekend services and in other areas of the church, pastoral care to the 100+ worship arts volunteers, lots of service planning, preparation, team building, teaching, shepherding and writing and recording music.

Diane Guzy - Pastor of VAC Tots
My area of responsibility is in the ministry of children from nursery through to preschool. I desire that during their time at VAC they would experience love and a life change.

Jeremy Kinniburgh - Pastor of Student Ministries
I have the greatest job in the world. I lead a team of around 60 of the most amazing volunteers; we work with hundreds of grade 6-12 students and the Young Adults at VAC. I have the opportunity to bring leadership to the youth staff, cast vision for the direction of the Route 6, Reign Student Ministries, and also of our NOMAD Communities. I also get to teach, serve, lead and generally be a part of what God is doing here at VAC and in the Valley. As a team we are here to help students discover Jesus and become his followers, and provide a place where together we can belong, believe and become.

Will Wiens - Campus Pastor
I have dual roles here at VAC. One is to give leadership to the area of facility maintenance. This involves participating in and also giving direction to custodial care. My goal is to develop teams of volunteers who will share in the care and development of our campus for ongoing effective ministry. I’ve also been entrusted to partner with our pastoral team to provide care to the church family. I have been given the opportunity to combine my unique gifting to blend repairs and maintenance with pastoral care.

Dwayne Boyd - Director of IT and Graphic Arts
Pastor of Information and Creative Arts
My role is to provide leadership to the IT & Graphic Arts Department, as well, I provide pastoral support in the area of Men’s Ministry and other areas as needed. One of my goals is to equip our staff/volunteers with technical tools that will empower them to be more effective in their areas of ministry. In this day & age, the handling of information and providing a secure computer network is paramount, so we are constantly updating policies, procedures and equipment to handle the day to day requirements. I am extremely blessed to be part of this incredible team.

Amber Arnold - Graphic Artist
My role is both visionary and productive in nature. I envision themes and designs based on individual department requests, and then create them for display. I also ensure that the information is accurate and appropriate in the final presentation. Such items include slides, posters, brochures and more.

Gwen Bilodeau - Administration/Compassions Ministry
I work together with the staff as the Administrator to help facilitate the daily operations of VAC. Also with Compassions Ministry I work with a team to meet the practical needs of people in our church family and community.

Amy Fitchett - VAC Kids Developer
As the VAC Kids Developer, I am responsible for coordinating weekend programs and ministry for children from Kindergarten to Grade 5. My hope is to create a warm and friendly atmosphere at VAC Kids, so they feel love and a sense of belonging. I am excited to work in connection with families and parents to help kids discover Jesus and become His followers.

Cole Friesen - Student Ministries Intern
I work in the student ministries department with my main focus in the junior high branch. I am also a part of a team that oversees the worship for both junior high and senior high nights.

Jessica Hamilton - Receptionist
I am the first point of contact for people coming into or phoning the church. I direct inquiries to appropriate departments, update the database, prepare the weekly bulletin, keep the website up to date and many other things throughout the week.

Phill Hickling - Interim Director of Sr. High Student Ministries
I have received the amazing privilege of being a part of VAC. So it is an honour to serve the body of Christ in this way. I will be involved in leading the Senior High and be involved with Jr. High as well as Young adults. It is my desire to see a generation fall totally in love with Jesus Christ and have that love control them, developing a culture of young people walking as Sons and Daughters of the King and knowing His Will for their lives and this world. To see them raised up in Christ walking in His fullness being equipped to fulfill the great commission.

Carmen Kinniburgh - VAC Kids Developer
I am so thrilled to be a part of a team that develops programs and ministry for kids in Kindergarten through Grade 5, and their families. My greatest desire in this area is to facilitate a caring and welcoming environment at VAC Kids for leaders and children to discover Jesus and become His followers. I am passionate about developing curriculum that best serves our children and their families, connecting with and supporting parents as the primary spiritual leaders in their child's life, as well as leadership development and building into the lives of our volunteers.

Trudy Kemper - Financial Secretary
I am responsible for looking after all financial matters that affect VAC, which is all aspects of offering, payroll, and paying bills. Other duties include preparing reports for our Board of Elders to help them make their decisions, preparing reports for the District and National Offices, Charities Return, helping in the budget process, GST, income tax receipts, and assisting our Treasurer.

Nona Love - Worship & Arts Administrative Assistant
It is my honor to assist Pastor Jon Buller with all things administrative in the VAC Worship Arts Department. This includes tasks such as communicating with and organizing volunteers for worship services and seasonal productions, as well as preparing visual presentation for each weekend. My personal goal is to know all the faces behind the emails, and encourage each one as we see the Kingdom of Heaven come to Vernon, through our church family here at VAC. Eph. 2: 21-22 reads: “In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”

Gerry Malnis - Ministry and Resources Coordinator
My job consists of managing the church's resources to allow ministry to function with freedom, alignment, discipline and financial accountability. I co-ordinate the marriage ministry and am a member of the Missions Advisory Committee to GAP. This job allows me to interact with the staff, congregation and elders. I am fortunate because I get to see God's faithfulness at work on a daily basis at VAC.

Marni Rogers - Community Life, Ministry College & Weekend Services Coordinator & Women’s Ministry Liaison
I connect people into Community Life groups and work alongside the leaders as they build friendships, minister to one another and "spur one another on toward love and good deeds" (Hebrews 10:24). I administrate Ministry College, 7 week fall & winter courses taught by an experienced faculty on a variety of subjects which help produce spiritual growth and equip people to impact others with the love of Christ. I coordinate the ushers, greeters, welcome desk & coffee volunteers who help people feel welcome during weekend services. As liaison, I work with the Women’s Leadership Team volunteers as they strengthen and empower women to be “Better Together”.

Katie Warden - Interim Director of Student Ministries
I lead and serve the young adults here at VAC! I want to see this generation encounter Christ in a real and intimate way! My prayer is that we would be people who live out, Eph. 3:16-18. “That being out of His glorious riches He may strengthen us with power through His Spirit, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. And being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.“ I am honoured and humbled to be used as a vessel in ushering young adults into the Kingdom!
